Our mission & vision
We redefine luxury with a unique blend of all-day wear and bespoke tailoring that transcends conventional gender norms. Our ethos champions living life on your terms, free from societal constraints. Every day is an opportunity to be a living masterpiece, adorned in wearable art that reflects your individuality.
Our bespoke tailoring, perfected through a client-centric co-design process, offers intentional designs that transcend seasons and gender boundaries. We commit to sustainability and ethical practices, ensuring every garment is timeless and far removed from trends of disposability. We nurture a cathartic and educational ethos, contributing to a more conscious and responsible fashion landscape.
Sustainability is at our core. We integrate eco-conscious initiatives into our business model, from material selection to production processes. All garments are locally handmade by Catalan women, producing zero waste by repurposing off-cuts and unsold items. Our philosophy is rooted in "Buying better, Living better." We are part of the UNITED NATIONS FASHION & LIFESTYLE NETWORK.
Collective connection drives us. We collaborate with NGOs like Arrels Foundation, helping homeless individuals reintegrate through the arts. We also work with local artists, showcasing that new globalizing is localizing. Our strategy involves opening up to five stores worldwide, each reflecting local culture and craftsmanship.
Fashion is a form of self-expression and a boundary influencing our interactions. By encouraging internal peace, we aim to make sustainability a stylish norm. Our "Beyond Gender" philosophy empowers individuals to express their true selves through versatile, eco-conscious designs. We create garments for both men and women, celebrating diversity and fostering community.
Corentin Christian is not just about fashion; it’s about transforming the industry, promoting inclusivity, and fostering sustainable practices. We believe true luxury lies in authenticity, time and self-expression, bridging individual freedom and collective acceptance.
THE FOUNDER & DESIGNER
“Be the change that you want to see in the World” - Mahatma Gandhi
IAGU became Corentin Christian and I would argue that it had always been Corentin Christian. I was just not ready to own my story. One that is rooted in my personal family legacy: Corentin Christian is a tribute to my family, my grand-father. My family comes from humble background where work ethics, empathy and compassion are the core values that move us. I was born in Fourmiers, where the textile industry started in France in the mid-eighteenth century with the development of the first lace factories, where my great-grand-mother would work as a child.
With my childhood dream of creating clothes that could make people fall in love with themselves again, away from societal constructs and norms, I carry today, more than ever, that drive to craft garments, handmade locally with Sandra.
Through sustainable practices, not only focused on fabrics but also the human side of it, Corentin Christian is about redefining wearable luxury: one that is authentic, simple yet creative, beautiful from the inside out through details, and versatile meaning both men and women can wear our clothes and layer them throughout seasons and their lifetime.
CC stands at the same time for Co-Creation as the collective is at the core of our craft, knowing deeply that alone we go faster, but together we go further.
