THE INSPIRATION
The initial inspiration for this fragrance draws from Corentin Christian's memory of his grandparent's garden, Jean-Marie & Christian, where as a child lily of the valley would spring up & he would 'play the bells' under a magnolia tree in bloom, then collecting various flowers to make a Spring bouquet to gift to his mother, along with various berries.
For 'Pouvoir des fleurs' we wanted to create a universal, timeless floral & has used no less than 15 different types of perfumed flora in the composition, yet created in such a manner that the scent softly blooms.
THE MEANING
In keeping with the Spring theme, the most prominent floral notes are muguet & peony, giving very much a sense of feeling new/fresh, along with the absolute extracts of sacred blue & pink lotus, also symbols of re-birth & new life.
THE COMPOSITION
There are actually a total of 15 different flowers making up the scent of 'Pouvoir'. Whilst predomninet notes of muguet, peony, magnolia & gardenia contribute to its clean, fresh floral character, there is also rose absolute giving a decadent depth & blue/pink lotus, a symbol of revival with an earthy, aquatic character.
Joining these (albeit in smaller doses),can also be found absolutes of champaca, jasmine, narcissus & orange blossom, along with linden blossom, mimosa & violet.
